An Intimate Summer Elopement At The Courthouse In Indianapolis

Julysa and Boris had a beautifully intimate summer wedding at the courthouse in Indianapolis! These two decided that they wanted to elope on their four-year anniversary, August 8th, 2022, and wanted the day to feel incredibly authentic to their relationship. We met over a cup of coffee downtown, and instantly clicked going over gorgeous mood boards and ideas on how to photograph their day perfectly for them. It took them only one month to plan their dream day, and it turned out more lovely than we could have ever imagined.

Julysa + Boris’s Intimate Elopement At The Courthouse In Indianapolis

The couple’s intimate ceremony at the courthouse was celebrated with their immediate family members only, and was filled with so much joy, the most beautiful words and declarations of love, and tons of happy tears. After the ceremony, the couple walked hand in hand around downtown, and I loved capturing moments along the way to document their sweet giddiness of being married. J and B stopped for a few drinks at the Spoke and Steele bar, and then had a beautiful candlelit dinner in a secret underground barrel room in downtown Indianapolis. The speakeasy was the most ethereal space to celebrate with their close group. There was delicious cake, yummy food, and incredible drinks to end their perfect day.

We of course have to take a moment for Julysa’s stunning short wedding dress from Mac Dugal and her short veil from Six Stories. She looked absolutely breathtaking and it was such an iconic and timeless look for her wedding day.
